GYDEbook is a digital estate-planning tool that helps users organize personal, financial, and beneficiary information for secure sharing with family members or executors. We value your trust and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights in controlling that data.

We collect the following types of data when you use GYDEbook:
- Personal Identifiers: such as your name, email address, or phone number.
- Sensitive and Private Information: such as date of birth, account numbers, estate-related notes, or other personal details you choose to record.
- Beneficiary Information: names, contact details, or notes related to individuals you list as beneficiaries or executors.
- Files and Documents: uploaded or generated estate files, notes, or PDFs you store in your account.

We do not collect location data, contacts from your device, or camera images unless you intentionally upload them.

Your information is used solely to:
- Store your estate and beneficiary information securely for your access.

GYDEbook processes and stores your data securely using third-party infrastructure providers. All data is formatted as JSON and encrypted:

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data. Limited data access is granted only to third-party processors that enable the app to function, such as:

You control your data. You may delete your account and associated data at any time within the app or by contacting info@gydebook.com. Once deleted, your information is permanently removed from active databases. We do not retain long-term backups once deletion is confirmed.

If you purchase a subscription or premium access, payments are processed securely through Apple Pay and Google Play Billing. GYDEbook does not store or process your full payment information; these transactions are handled directly by Apple and Google under their respective privacy and security standards.

GYDEbook is not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

GYDEbook currently operates for users in regions outside the European Union and California. If regulations such as GDPR or CCPA later apply, this policy will be updated to reflect the required data-subject rights.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, no online service is completely risk-free; users are encouraged to maintain secure passwords and device access.
